Yes Toronto is a complete SHIT HOLE from hell ... I get it.

Where I live in Toronto there are no natives, despite the city being more diverse and multicultural and having "diversity is our strength" as its slogan. I guess Toronto is hostile towards natives despite claiming it's more tolerant.
I have a disdain for this city since last year and want to live somewhere outside Canada in the future.
Torontonians and 905ers complain about how bad the transit system is here and how bad traffic is (they are serious, it's among the worst in North America). But when it comes to finding money or revenue to pay for those transit projects and challenging transit projects made by politicians that are not warranted, they just sit there and say that they don't want to pay for those improvements and don't want the taxes and fees to pay for the projects cause they are already taxed too much. Those in the suburbs dream about building subways throughout the whole GTA while badmouthing light rail transit and complaining it's a streetcar and impedes traffic but light rail systems in Alberta and serveral US cities prove otherwise. They ignore the disadvantages of ineffective transit plans created by politicians (building subways in "less dense" areas that don't warrant them like the Scarborough subway and Sheppard subway) and seem to think building transit underground is the best solution while ignoring the long term and construction costs and implications. They don't like transit plans like light rail that provides the most ridership for less cost. The suburbanites are completely ignorant on transit and stick to their cars (I drive too because it's the only option there) while the downtowners are more aware of the transit issue. Toronto in general makes transit plans every few years and keeps changing them because of who's in city council and in provincial Queen's park for decades while building nothing and disagreeing with each other. It's still going on. The transit politics and debates in Toronto are endless and it pisses me off. Torontonians are so stupid, lazy and pathetic when it comes to dealing with traffic and transit congestion and issues.

You're correct about BC - unbelievable that they would sell off unceded land that is legally and technically still in dispute ... but not surprising.
